Pros and cons of Fallen London app for iPhone and iPad

Fallen London app good for

Cant put it down, the story and possible ways to interact with it are hilarious. App problems: - on entering any page you get scrolled to the top, which is a pain if you already started scrolling down yourself - when playing the face change card you get no chance to use it in the app - when I convert items in my inventory Im not being send to the inventory afterwards but to the stories tab, which is a minor inconvenience
Ive been a fan of Fallen London for years... Im thrilled that it is finally playable on mobile!
Been playing for years. Like the new app. One big needs to be addressed. Is there a way to force a sync so that actions and cards can be refreshed? If app closes but runs in background, actions and cards dont refill over time. Must force-kill to re-sync. Please address soon. Many thanks, delicious app developers.
This is one of if not the best games Ive played so far, but be warn there are some glitches, but the game content so so over welming its amazing!
Only a few mins in the game and it shows promise. I hope future updates add more music, and the ability to check other people profiles without crashing my game.
From what I have gone up to it has been great however the game bugged out and now I cant get into it. It just shows a grey screen. Do recommend though.

Some bad moments

Action does not refill. Stuck at 0 for hours. There are better, less buggy games out there
I was pretty excited to have an app for this game, mostly because it could be played offline, and I had hope the design to be beautiful and functional like the online version. Imagine my dismay when I download it only to find a terribly buggy, bloated and basically unplayable game. It already takes up almost double the advertised space after a few hours of play(350MB), the graphics are huge and require extensive scrolling, and after every exit it needs to be connected to the Internet to "sync", which takes minutes that seem like hours. I am back to playing it in safari, where its actually more playable on my phone. Would have gotten one star if the online version wasnt so great.
Server has been offline since I downloaded it so I havent even got to try the game.
I keep force closing it because it wont load that Ive gained energy and then the app becomes unusable and I have to delete it and download it again
Played once when first downloaded. Very slow loading. Now it wont even load. Crashes.
... But I myself was never able to make it past the name creation. Its a trial-and-error process to find a name to call yourself that has not been taken already. I gave up after three attempts and deleted the game. Its unfortunate they have made this design choice, it makes it irritating from the get-go and since you have no idea if the game is good, its not very hard to say "whatever" and move on. Which I did.
