Great game, bad updates

Why do I have to wait five minutes for game to boot? It has to check for sound updates and image updates. Just push these through the app store when there are updates.

Another problem is that if you dont manually close the game, it doesnt count time away towards your energy points coming back. So after a few hours away, youll still be at zero.
