Great game, sub-par app

I earnestly love Fallen London. Its atmospheric and engaging and just really good storytelling. Unfortunately the app just isnt good. It can take five minutes to load, which is a lot when you consider that its just a text based game with images. And Im not even using it on an old phone; Im on the iPhone 6. The sync feature is finicky and though it sometimes works, other times it just loads forever or erases your progress.
The interface is clean and neat and just looks really great, but just moving between different pages in game can take ages, and the app really gets tedious without the try again button available in the browser version. Its a shame because I really love this game.
Altogether I avoid using his app when possible, and instead use the browser version on my phone.
