What a stupid game no tutorial .. Its just stupid makes no sense

After installing, hangs while syncing content.

I love this game but the current version of the app is so slow and buggy that I will continue playing it in a browser window only. I plan on checking in every few months in the hope that the app will be improved but until then its really not worth it.

The stories and the writing are very intriguing. Its simple to play, but still very fun!

Yeah, launch screen.. Loading... Ding. Would love to play. But I guess not.

Im a Fallen London fan from way back, but I stopped playing because it was inconvenient to play on the website. I was so excited to hear that there was an app released of FL, so I downloaded it immediately. Whenever I can make it past the load screen, I love it. Its the same great FL experience that I remember from playing years ago. That load screen, though...I just spent SO much time staring at it. The full FL image went back and forth a total of three times before I gave up. Not back-forth-back, but double that. My husbands given up playing this (he was the one who turned me onto FL), and we both really want to play! I think maybe the most frustrating part about it is that the load time is inconsistent. Last night I played, and it took less than a minute to load. This morning, however, took maybe...three minutes before I gave up. Pleasepleaseplease reduce the load time!! I will definitely edit my rating to 5 stars if that happens.

Why does this game need to connect to unresponsive servers on every load? Any update should be via the App Store. I cannot sit out a five to ten minute upload time.

One of the best-written games out there finally in app form.

Thats a great game, but please, stop ignoring 1/9 part of the earth ground! Add a Russian language support!

I tested it on different internet connections and sometimes the loading screen is just stuck on loading character for a really long time. More than 15-20 min.

Fallen London is such a fantastic world, the stories are amazing. But the app is slow, buggy, cheap, sports a cheesy icon, and its just overall not well conceived

Brainy, hilarious, and completely ingenious stories.

The game is easily 5 stars good, but Ive had it with a new glitch or error every day, ESPECIALLY when Im paying $7 a month for Exceptional Membership. This will remain a 1 star review until I can consistently play the game without freezing, crashing, or losing progress thanks to sync errors. Fix your game, Failbetter. Im one of the early adopters and a big fan of your game, but youre about to lose me for good. I wonder how some of your less stalwart fans are doing amidst all this.

I love everything about this app and I really want it to succeed. As someone who has never visited Fallen London on the browser, I figured I would not have as many complaints as the users who came from the web. The social connect/signup features do not remember your information so signing in/up is tedious. Load times can be very long, though I am unsure what the app is actually doing. Sometimes progress simply isnt saved. And in a reading environment, it can be tedious to try and work your way back to wherever you were just because your progress wasnt saved. Hoping the experience becomes more stable and streamlined... Fallen London is a remarkable world!

I played Fallen London a few years ago online but always felt like it needed a mobile app. Now that its here, I couldnt be happier with it. This game has an excellent story and fascinating writing that keeps me coming back day after day. If youre at all interested in surrealism, Lovecraft, steampunk, or just good world-building Give This Game A Shot. While previous versions of the app had some stability and sync issues, I havent seen any on this latest release. The only thing it needs now is a "Try This Again" option after storylets!

Opening app takes forever with checking updates. Complete opposite of what you would want from a mobile app

The best choose your path story game that I have seen... I dont care if it has some bugs still, just remember to save every couple actions. Pretty pricy if you spend money, but its fine on its own. If you read books... At all for leisure, I highly recommend this game.

Im completely addicted to this game! What a rich storyline! Love it!

This is a great and unique game, the story and writing is really good. However there are a few technical issues: 1. Loading time at startup and during gameplay is really really long for a text based game. 2. Server syncing fails all the time preventing advancement of actions and sometimes revert to old saves(I got the message a couple of times but Im not sure I really lost any progress). 3. I log in with Facebook and have to type my email and password every time I launch the game, I hope theres a auto login feature.
